roadside pottery.

There is something so satisfactory about throwing pots in the morning. Setting them out to dry for a bit and then trimming them up before going home for the day.

Rarely in pottery do you get such immediate satisfaction. Lots of waiting in this game, isn't there?

Hi Jeanette,

Sorry to clog things up with an irrelevant comment. I moved my blog and wanted to let you know for your blogroll. It's now www.design-realized.com/adventures. (Site proper is now through design-realized.com) If you use a feed aggregator to read blogs, it's www.design-realized.com/adventures/feed.

A token moment of relevance: I wish it were warm enough in Chicago to throw outside!

Thanks! :)
Julie

Hi! Your interview on Etsy was great. And I'm glad to see that you have a blog, unfortunately my internet is acting up and I can't find the follow button :(
Anyway, love your pottery. I'm a ceramics student and am sort of struggling with the creative part of it, but seeing other peoples work and determination is inspiring. Thanks!

Hi there
I tracked you through Etsy and your wonderful interview. I seriously love your work.

The idea of making something and selling it has always, always been on my mind. However I never settled on anything specific.

I went through your whole store trying to figure out how you made each item. Love the color palette, etc. I think your aesthetic is very approachable and has a wide audience.

Keep doing what you're doing!!!!!

Nice studio shot! Did you go to NCECA and see Kari Radasch doing her THING???? Amazing!
I know, there is something very satisfying about starting and finishing one aspect of the clay process in one work day! Check out my blog 2pearspottery
