end of the 100 mugs.

This is the last of the 100 mugs to come out of the kiln. I realize I got lazy about photographing the final mugs as they were glazed and fired. I'm just not that into my pots once they are finished. I am much more attached to them when they are being made. After they come out of the glaze kiln, I'm over them.

Below are some new pieces in progress. Went from mugs to pourers. Watering cans and teapots. Very fun to work on some challenging forms and new ideas.

Okay, I must ask. I know its nearly taboo, trade secrets and all, but I'd be willing to trade! I have been testing for weeks to try and get this color, and you go and come up with Morning Glory Purple! Can I get the recipe/source?

Oh, I got the mug (notengomiedo @ etsy :) Love it! I'm all about the deep jewel tones. I'm teaching a handbuilding class and I'm using it as an example for the students- the cut glass is very unique. Also, the rapsberry glaze is so apropos for my raspberry hot cocoa ;)

Those spouts on the watering cans defy gravity and are amazing, hope to see them glazed. Congrats on the 100 mugs.
