snow.

The forecast calls for snow tomorrow. Which is just crazy. Seriously, I was walking around in short sleeves today.

New spring stamps:

Cupcake stand:

New goal- customized wedding cake stands:
(here is a vegan one in process)

(It really did snow! I know, you guys in the northern climates will think I'm a dork...but it is so lovely and only happens once a year or so!)

fail.

Rejected pots. So sad. Sorry little buggers, my fault. Shouldn't have rushed the drying. Shouldn't have rushed the glazing. Should have sieved the glaze one more time. Should have tried to patch that crack.

before and after.

A photo of the before and a couple of photos of the after. I like to plan out my glazing. Set it all out and write in pencil what each piece will be. Anybody else do this? It makes my glazing go so much faster.

I'm mostly happy with the watering can. Would love a critique!

Also working on some new photos. Need to update my gallery shots and application photos.

end of the 100 mugs.

This is the last of the 100 mugs to come out of the kiln. I realize I got lazy about photographing the final mugs as they were glazed and fired. I'm just not that into my pots once they are finished. I am much more attached to them when they are being made. After they come out of the glaze kiln, I'm over them.

Below are some new pieces in progress. Went from mugs to pourers. Watering cans and teapots. Very fun to work on some challenging forms and new ideas.
